In math this week we will continue working on Topic 16. We will continue working on the math vocabulary term quizes. Our next quiz will be to re-take quiz 4. Please see your child's assignment book so you know what words to study. Please continue to practice your math facts! We will continue having the timed fact tests after we have completed the geometry quizes.
In ELA we will be practicing with the spelling, grammar, and vocabulary for "Cliff Hanger." Please refer to your Family Times newsletter for all the information you need to study. Spelling pretest will be on Tuesday. Spelling post- test, vocabulary, and grammar test will be on Friday. We are continuing to work with short stories to practice skills for the PSSAs.
The PSSAs are coming up quickly. They will take place during April. Please make sure to practice the skills that are coming home with your child for homework. This will help them prepare for the standardized tests.
Monday is day 10 and we will have Computer class with Miss. Kraft.
Thursday afternoon we will have our Monthly reward for students who are following the school behavior plan. This month we are going to the high-school pool! Please have your child bring a towel and bathing suit to enjoy this special treat! We will be going to the high-school only for the afternoon following lunch and recess.
