  • Social Studies
    • Over the next two months, students will be learning about different geographic elements of PA.  We will be discussing topics in the following order.  While I am out on maternity leave my blog will not be updated.  Please see your child’s assignment book and orange folder for more detailed information on what is being discussed each week.  If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact my substitute Ms. Romanchik (information listed below).
    • Order of topics to be discussed over the next two months
      • Geographic regions of PA
      • Natural resources of PA
      • Mammals of PA
      • Our farms and forests
      • Our minerals and fossil fuels
      • Our population and cities
      • Our waterways
      • Our climate and weather
      • Products made in PA
      • Our transportation system

Important Reminders:

Dear Families,
I will not be in school due to maternity leave during January and February.  During that time, I will have long-term substitute, Ms. Romanchik filling in for me.  She will be covering the same materials in class, that I would be covering if I were present. She has been working with me, in order to get to know the students, as well as to learn our classroom routines.  If you have any questions please feel free to call (ext. 117) or email her at bromanchik@northschuylkill.net.  I will still be available through email, however, I will not be able to respond very quickly. Thank you for your consideration during this time of transition.
                                                                        Sincerely,
                                                                        Mrs. Eger

***Ms. Romanchik's email has been changed.  Please see above for changes.  This email address is different than the one that was sent home with your child's letter.
