Week of March 18th

Monday, March 17th, will be rotation day 6. Mrs. Eger’s homeroom will have computers.

We have finished up our unit dealing with the geography of Pennsylvania.  We are working on a culminating project instead of having a unit test.  The project is being completed in school.  Students are using their interactive notebooks and the textbook in order to find facts about Pennsylvania.

Please help our school and our classroom with our PTA Basket Raffle.  Our class theme is “Hot Drinks.”  We would greatly appreciate any and all donations to help our class basket be the best in the school!  An ideas list went home a few weeks ago in your child’s Friday Folder.  Please have all donations to our classroom my April 12th.  If you have any questions, please let me know!!

Wednesday, March 20th, is our Stop the Bleed presentation.  If you would like your child to NOT attend the presentation, please return the signed form as soon as possible.

Yearbook order are due by March 22.  Extra books will NOT be ordered.

A paper about “Quotes for Good Communities” from State Farm was also in Friday Folders last week.  Please take a few minutes out of your day to call State Farm and help our school.

Remember if there is a snow day, we do not skip that day’s rotation day.  We will continue with the rotation when we return to school.  For example:  Friday was day 8, Monday should be day 9 but there is a snow day.  Therefore, Tuesday will be day 9.

If there is a 3 hour delay there is no special so it is a non-rotation day.  For example: Monday is supposed to be day 2, but there is a 3 hour delay.  Therefore, Tuesday will be day 2.

Please remember to look at the important dates (to the right) for other important happenings in March.
