Monday, March 25th, will be
rotation day 6. Mrs. Eger’s homeroom will have computers.
Most classes have completed their PA
projects. Please keep an eye out in your
child’s Spartan folder for the project.
Many students are losing points because of spelling mistakes that were
addressed on their outlines when I checked them.
Please
help our school and our classroom with our PTA Basket Raffle. Our class theme is “Hot Drinks.” We would greatly appreciate any and all
donations to help our class basket be the best in the school! An ideas list went home a few weeks ago in
your child’s Friday Folder. Please have all
donations to our classroom by April 12th. If you have any questions, please let me
know!!
PSSAs are quickly
approaching. ELA tests days are April
15, 16, and 17. Math test days are April
29 and 30. Science test days are May 1
and 2. Since Social Studies is not a
tested subject, starting April 1, Social Studies time will be used to work on
study skills and practice skills for ELA, Math and Science. We will continue handwriting.
·
Tests
start at 9:00 AM. Please have your child
at the school at their regularly scheduled time or they will need to sit in the
office for the duration of the test. Any
missed sessions will be made up at a later time.
·
Please
have your child refrain from bringing any electronics to school during the PSSA
tests. All electronics will be collected
and placed in a bag outside of the classroom during the test each day.
·
Our
schedule will change on testing days, but we will still have special.
·
Students
should try their best to have a good night’s sleep and a nutritious breakfast
before the tests each day.
Our field trip to
Indian Echo Caverns is quickly approaching!!
It is on Friday, May 17th.
A lime green paper came home in their Spartan Folder with information
regarding the trip. If you need another
one let me know!
·
Only
PTO parents need to return the slip at the bottom of the paper if they would
like to chaperone the trip. Cost is
$20. Payment needs to be submitted to
Mrs. Eger by April 8th.
·
The
trip is during regular school hours.
Students will not need to come early or stay late.
·
Please
contact Mrs. Eger with any questions or concerns.
Please remember to look at the important
dates (to the right) for other important happenings in April.
