Week of Sept. 10

Monday Sept. 10 will be rotation day 10.

On Monday, Tuesday, and possibly Wednesday, 4th grade will be doing the CDTs.  These are NOT for a grade.  These tests are used to help students prepare for the PSSA tests and for teachers to see areas of strengths and weaknesses.  Once we are done with the the CDTs we will review our knowledge of the Table of Contents, the Glossary, and Index that we learned last week.  We will then take a brief "quiz" on this material.  We will go over the material extensively in class and the students will use their books to help them answer the questions.  They will NOT need to study outside of school.  This is meant to be done only in class.  For the remainder of the week we will start exploring the 3 branches of our state and national government.

There will be no homework this week for Social Studies.
