In math this week we will be starting Topic 15 on finding area and perimeter. We are planning on having a final math quiz on Topic 15 next Tuesday. Please watch your child's homework book in case the date changes. Please continue to practice your math facts! We will continue having the timed fact tests until the end of the year.
In ELA we will be practicing with the spelling, grammar, and vocabulary for "Tia Lola." Please refer to your Family Times newsletter for all the information you need to study. Spelling pretest will be on Monday. Spelling post- test, grammar and vocabulary test will be next Tuesday.
Monday is day 10 and we will have Computer class.
Special Events coming up:
-Monday: We will sign yearbooks in the cafeteria. Please don't forget to bring your yearbooks.
-Wednesday: 4th grade will have a final meeting with their Reading Buddies.
-Friday: Carnival Day!
-Monday 5-30: there will be no school in honor of Memorial Day.
-Thursday 6-2: Last student day. Student dismissal at 11:45. Graduation will be Thursday evening.
