May 2-6

Welcome to May!!  We will begin May with a busy week!  Our schedule looks like this:

• Monday: Spelling Pre-test.  We will introduce "Moonwalk."  
• Tuesday: Field Trip *Please see information below*
• Wednesday:  Band students will have all day practice at the high school.  The concert will begin at 7.  Students are asked to arrive at 6:15 to begin setting up.  
• Friday:  This is the last day for library book checkout.  All books are due back to the library by May 20th.  

Field Trip Information:

• If you are a chaperon on the trip and are taking your child home after the field trip on Tuesday, please send a note in with your child before the field trip so the office is aware.  This will alleviate congestion in the office.

The 4^th grade field trip will be Tuesday May 3^rd

• *Chaperones: Please notify your classroom teacher immediately if you are unable to attend on Tuesday.
  
  
  *Students who ordered a school lunch:  your lunch will still be available from the cafeteria for Tuesday.
  
  
  *EVERYONE needs to wear closed shoes and long pants, per LACAWAC. You may also want to bring a raincoat/ poncho, rain boots, and a change of clothing.  

Please be aware that on Monday May 9th there will be an all day practice at the high school for students who are in Chorus.  The concert will be on Wednesday, May 11th.
