In math this week we will begin Topic 12 on Monday, which is a continuation of fractions. Please continue to practice your math facts! These are very important when working with fractions. We will continue to have timed tests daily.
In ELA we will be practicing with the spelling, grammar, and vocabulary for "Seeker of Knowledge." Please refer to your Family Times newsletter for all the information you need to study. Spelling pretest will be on Monday. Spelling pos test, grammar test, and vocabulary test will be on Friday. We will not be reading the story this week, as we will begin working with short stories to practice skills for the PSSAs.
The PSSAs are coming up quickly. They will take place during April. Please make sure to practice the skills that are coming home with your child for homework. This will help them prepare for the standardized tests.
Monday is day 1 and we will have Library with Mr. Demsko.
Monday will also be our end of the month reward. Your child may bring in a board game or electronic to play with during reward time.
