January 25-29

In math this week we will be finishing up division in Topic 9 by having the test on Tuesday.  We will begin Topic 11 on Wednesday by introducing fractions.  Please continue to study the times tables!  It is very important that you know these facts quickly.

In reading we will be finishing up "Paul Bunyan" by having the story test on Wednesday.  Please study the vocabulary and the strategy of generalization that are found on your Family Times letter.  We will start "The Case of the Gasping Garbage" on Thursday.  We will be having the spelling test on Tuesday.
